At Fresh Group, our strength lies in our people, and when it comes to heading up our Isle of Man branch, Dan Amphlett was the natural choice.
Dan plays a pivotal role in driving growth in the Isle of Man, expanding partnerships with key stakeholders, and helping navigate new opportunities for business owners and entrepreneurs to gain investment and unlock their full potential.
He has quickly become the face of Fresh Business Ventures and helped establish our presence on the island since his appointment in May 2024. Since then, he has helped over 20 businesses on the Isle of Man to begin the process of securing foreign investment to expand and grow.
Prior to working at Fresh Business Ventures, Dan has 18 years of sales experience under his belt and a strong background in finance. His extensive sales background and deep understanding of the local market enables him to deliver tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients.
Our clients are a mix of local businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to scale their operations or turn a business idea into a successful enterprise. By connecting these local businesses with our extensive network of global investors, we provide a vehicle for them both to flourish.
When asked about his role at Fresh Business Ventures, Dan says, “I moved to the Isle of Man nine years ago and instantly fell in love with the place. I admired the entrepreneurial spirt and sense of camaraderie here and liked the idea of helping the business community to continue to thrive.”
He adds, “When I heard about Fresh Business Ventures and their mission to bridge the gap between local businesses and global investors, I was immediately interested. Their values of transparency, confidentiality and professionalism really aligned with the things most important to me, and so I was delighted to be able to head up the Isle of Man office to find ways to create mutual value for our clients and global investors.”
Whilst The Fresh Group has operated globally for over 15 years, Fresh Business Ventures is in its infancy with huge potential for growth in the years to come – not only in terms of revenue but in our impact on the businesses we work with. Powered by a passion for facilitating innovation on the island, Dan can often be found meeting with potential clients at Santander’s work café or in one of the many coffee shops the island has to offer.
When Dan isn’t busy forging partnerships and driving growth at Fresh Business Ventures, he’s is a real family man and enjoys spending time exploring the beautiful island with his wife and daughters. Some of his favourite spots include Laxey beach and Castletown Golf Course. He’s also partial to a good coffee and panini at The Shed in Laxey.
